Dr. R.J. Stuart III, DDS

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Richard (RJ) Stuart III is a skilled oral and maxillofacial surgeon who joined the practice in 2024. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Dr. Stuart attended Park Tudor High School and subsequently earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Accounting, as well as a Master's degree in Information Systems from Indiana University. After briefly working as an information systems consultant, he decided to pursue a career in the dental field and became the fourth dentist in his family. In 2019, he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Dr. Stuart then underwent four years of rigorous training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at West Virginia University, with a special emphasis on tooth extractions, dental implants, and anesthesia. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. His clinical interests include in-office anesthesia, third molar extractions, and complex rehabilitation with dental implants. Dr. Stuart enjoys spending time with his wife, Kathleen, and their children, Richie and Mary Kate. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, home improvement projects, playing Yahtzee, and traveling.
