Dr. Michael Wirey, DDS

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

Dr. Michael Wirey was born and raised in Indiana, growing up in Greenwood and attending Center Grove High School. He joined the practice in 2025. He went on to study at Indiana University Bloomington, where he graduated with highest distinction and completed multiple degrees within four years. He then earned his dental degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Wirey completed advanced anesthesia training through the Dental Anesthesia Fellowship at the Indiana University School of Medicine, Department of Anesthesia. He then continued his surgical training at West Virginia University, completing an internship and residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery — encompassing the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including extensive experience in dentoalveolar surgery, dental implant reconstruction, and anesthesia and sedation techniques for outpatient procedures. He is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Outside the office, Dr. Wirey enjoys cheering on IU sports, reading fiction, and spending time with his wife Magy, their three children, and their family dog, Charlie.
